I suppose you don't really want to hear that diet and exercise are the two main areas of to look at when it comes to natural joint pain relief. But as in everything else, no pain, no gain - in a different sense, of course.
Being overweight causes extra unnecessary strain on your body. Sometimes even a weight gain of five pounds can cause joint pain in the legs and hips. The reason is a little obvious - the weight is pressing down on your muscles (or lack thereof), and if the muscles aren't strong enough, they begin to press on the joints. When muscles constantly rub against joints it can cause the joints to break down. When the cartilage in the joints has broken down too much, your bones will begin to rub against the joints, and you will soon be searching for joint pain relief.
So be sure that you are constantly aware of getting the foods you need in your diet to help repair cartilage, like salmon, sardines, walnut oil and spinach, all of which are excellent cartilage boosters. Exercise will also help considerably, even if it's just a short walk every day. However, it's best to also do weight bearing exercising to keep the muscles strong and able to hold any extra weight that comes on.
If you don't get enough oily fish in your diet, you might try adding fish oil supplement. The reason these joint supplements play an important part is that they're high in EPA and DHA. You should be getting about 600 mg a day of Omega 3 from either your diet or a supplement. This means you should eat fish at least three times a week. These two things by themselves are good for joint pain relief that has just begun to appear.
Please note though, not all fish oil supplements are not alike. You might try one and find that you are just burping all the time, and that fishy taste is not exactly pleasing. So if you're going to take a supplement, make sure it's first high in DHA, and secondly not the cheapest one on the market. And, if you do have a problem with one, try another one - maybe something containing Krill, or another type of oily fish.
A natural ingredient just released to the market is CM8® which is a new ingredient found in Flexin. Other natural herbs you might find in a joint supplement to relieve joint pain are Devil's Claw, Glucosamine, Boswella Serrata, Vitamin C, Ginger and White Willow Bark - to name a few.
You may need to test a few of these to find the one that works best for your joint pain, but if you're lucky, you'll have enough information to make an informed decision the first time.
